Ideally wedding cakes need to be booked at least 6 months in advance, but occasionally we may be able to accommodate late bookings.
A £100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. We cannot confirm your booking until this has been received.
As we are constantly receiving enquiries, it is important to secure your date as soon as possible. We would not want to disappoint anyone, but we are already receiving bookings for 2011.
The balance is due on all wedding cakes 14 days prior to the event or 7 days if payment is in cleared funds ie cash. Cheques are to be made to ‘Vanilla’.
Delivery :
Delivery is included in the price of your wedding cake, however It is possible for you to collect your cake from us, but Vanilla does not take any responsibility for any damage caused to the cake whilst in your possession.
Stand Hire:
For cake designs where a glass stand is included, a £100 deposit against damages is required to make the booking. The deposit can be done by a cheque made to ‘Vanilla’, post-dated for the day of the event. This will be returned to you within 3 days of collection of the stand
Cancellations:
If payment has been made in full and you decide to cancel your order, we cannot offer a refund, however we will keep the payment on file for 12 months (to be used against other cakes/products). If cancellations are made within 3 months of the wedding/function, then we cannot refund any money or keep the payment on file. This is necessary as we may have had to turn away other business.
